YÖRÄHINÄ 3

Pirkanmaasoft's YÖRÄHINÄ 3 will be held in the Säres Center gaming area on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

YÖRÄHINÄ is Finland's only scenario focusing on night operations. You can only participate in the game if you have registered in advance, which will be done through Kuulaportti. The game has a very strong recommended age limit of 15.

The game area is practically divided into two parts, a lit CQB area and a dark forest area. The forest area is well suited for fighting with night vision devices, but in the lit CQB area, fighting can be done well even with just a weapon light. Therefore, participating in the game does not require night vision devices. However, the number of people using night vision devices is balanced between teams, which is why when registering, players choose a role depending on their equipment. Any player using a night vision device or a thermal imager in the game must register for the NVD role. Weapon lights are allowed and recommended for all players. The use of all laser sights and strobe functions on weapon lights is prohibited.

The game fee of 10 euros is paid at the game site upon registration. The game fee can be paid in cash, via Kide.app or MobilePay.

The game fee includes:

  • Paper map of the game area
  • Bandage
  • Pirkanmaasoft's night Velcro badge
  • Water supply
  • Campfire site
  • WCs and showers
  • Sauna and hot tub after the game

When registering at the game site, it is possible to purchase armbands, deadrags and Pirkanmaasoft's other Velcro badges for an additional fee.

For possible overnight stays, tents with stoves and firewood are available at a reasonable price. Please contact us in advance if you are interested in renting a tent.

Game objective:

According to rumors, wartime German gold caches have been buried in the area. The task of the parties is to find the caches and transport the gold to their own base. Information about the cache locations can be obtained from clues in the area and from separate tasks.

Game rules:

The game applies Pirkanmaasoft's game rules with a few exceptions. Each player must know and understand the game rule before participating in the event. The game briefing will focus on the most important safety issues and the specifics of the game and the playing area. To ensure understanding of the rules of the game, each player must know either Finnish or English.

Tuning limits:

  • Assault rifles and submachine guns: 1.7 J
  • Machine guns: 2 J, safety limit 20 m
  • Semi-automatic sniper rifles: 2.5 J, safety limit 20 m
  • Heavy semi-automatic sniper rifles: 3 J, safety limit 30 m
  • Bolt-action sniper rifles: 4 J, safety limit 40 m

Other rules related to weapons and projectiles:

  • Due to darkness, sniper rifles and machine guns are not allowed for minors, otherwise weapon choices are not restricted.
  • Full auto is only allowed for machine guns.
  • The use of pyrotechnic, smoke or sound grenades is prohibited. The game masters may use smoke or sound grenades, but these will be implemented in a way that does not require players to wear hearing protection.
  • Non-functioning grenades are prohibited.
  • BB grenades are allowed.
  • The fire support weapon shall represent a real life belt-fed machine gun. Magazine-fed support weapons (e.g. RPK, M27 IAR, MG36) are categorized as assault rifles.
  • Semi-automatic sniper rifles shall represent a real-life example (e.g. SVD, M21, SR25).
  • Heavy semi-automatic sniper rifles include the M82 Barret and similar.

When playing with a powerful weapon, it is strongly recommended to carry a low-power (1 J or less) backup weapon for close-quarters situations.

Bases and respawning:

Both teams use the offgame area as a respawn point, from which respawning occurs every fifteen minutes. The teams have their own routes to move to the game area from the offgame area.

Special rules for the game area:

There are several buildings and stationary vehicles in the game area. Opening their doors and moving inside them is permitted. However, opening windows is prohibited. Some windows have been clearly opened for passage by the game masters. These windows shall not be closed. Deliberately damaging the windows, doors or other game elements found in the area is strictly prohibited. The second floor of the two-story container building can only be accessed by stairs. Going inside containers that clearly serve as storage is prohibited. Digging under containers and buildings is prohibited.

Radio frequencies:

  • PMR 1-3 reserved YELLOW
  • PMR 4-6 reserved RED
  • PMR 7-8 reserved GAME MASTERS. PMR 8 is the primary game control frequency.

Body armor/helmet rule:

If you wear a body armor and helmet with a combined weight exceeding 6 kg during the game, you will be granted an additional medical treatment. The weight limit specifically applies to the weight of the additional protection, for example, the weight of drinking water or magazines is not counted.

Medical treatment:

Each player can be treated once before a mandatory respawn. Each player carries their own bandage or tourniquet. The bandage is tied to a leg or an arm, after which the player can return to the game. Players receive one bandage free of charge upon registration.

Armbands:

To facilitate identification in the dark, players only wear one armband. The red party holds the armband on their left hand, the yellow team on their right.

Dead rag:

Each player must have an orange rag or a red light to indicate that they have been eliminated from the game. Due to the darkness, a red glow stick or light is highly recommended.
